a puppy. And don't give Claritin-D.
(I buy the generic Zyrtec and its is really affordable.)

I think adding Omega 3 to his diet could be helpful - it is one of the first things that was recommended to me when my dog was having issues. He gets 1000 mg of Omega 3 (human variety purchased at Costco) every day plus 200 IU Vitamin E once a week. This helped his skin.

Another product I would have on hand is Douxo Chlorhexidine + Climbazole Mousse. You can buy online. It has been a lifesaver here! Instantly stops the paw itching. I keep it on hand for all sorts of skin issues.

With frequent bathing, I would be sure to get a non-irritating shampoo. This is the one I like for itchy dogs: https://www.amazon.com/Douxo-Calm-Shampoo-Dogs-Cats/dp/B0010V5LNE
