Richard, the world we perceive is nothing more than illusion, and in concept, no different from our dreams at night. We only think of it as real because.. well that's the way we've always dunnit through the severe limitations of our Newtonian five senses. Einstein proved almost a hundred years ago that matter is just another form of energy. The energy that shapes the universe we perceive to be solid matter, is entirely malleable and responds to our expectations in the absence of the ego, and if we're willing to accept the possibilities. The setting, the time, the conditions.. all are critical and wereso in your case. Your "Jafsie" only disappeared because of the sudden realization of who he looked like and your ego's need to prove to yourself and others he was actually there. I could fill a book on my own personal encounters along these lines. Your St. Raymonds encounter story made my day!
