Did you bring up this idea that the New York media might have been responsible for the baby's death in your book, The Lindbergh Syndrome?

You may be on to something when you say the baby may have lived had his father taken off from Baltimore or Pittsburgh.

But Long Island is known as "the cradle of aviation," and this was the place to be in the early days of aviation!

I believe your perceptions about the New York media, but why do the vast amount of people hold New Yorkers up as standard-bearers? Is there a secret envy that they don't want to admit to?
