I am quite certain most every "expert" utilize this same equipment you mentioned above, yet, they still come down on separate sides of questioned documents often.

Didn't the "experts" in the Ramsey case use equipment? Yes they did. Gee, how is this possible? I mean they are all "experts" using this great equipment... So why the major differences in opinions?

"Expert" opinions are simply one piece of the puzzle. Most people pick the one they "like" and there's where it ends.

Okay so let me remind you what you wrote below again:

The trim board is a rough wood surface with a heavy coat of paint on it. The brush strokes have created troughs and ridges on the surface of the trim board. Would any rational person expect the pencil strokes to be uniform on such a surface? No,they would not.

So you used all of this equipment and did not see what is so plain to the naked eye?

Smooth, Steady, Consistent.

Anyway, I think I'm starting to beat a dead horse and I don't have time for it. You see, I don't need all of that equipment to see exactly what you said a rational person couldn't have expected. It's right there. I am not going to try to change your mind because I know it was probably made up before you even drove down to the Archives. Besides, changing minds was never my goal. It was only ever to simply get all of the facts out there that I absolutely know no one would have ever had available for consideration.
