Why MUST I agree with the examiners that opined that Patsy Ramsey wrote the ransom note, or, why MUST I agree with the examiners that said she did not write the ransom note. I haven't examined the original ransom note or the Patsy Ramsey standards of comparison. How could I have a conclusion based on an examination of nothing?

I do not defer to other questioned document examiners opinions. I do my own examinations and I do not care what other people have to say. I don't have any counterparts either. That would suggest another examiner is a copy or duplicate of me. Nature never presents herself in facsimile which includes human beings.

A handwriting examination, fingerprint examination, polygraph examination, etc., is only as good as the examiner or forensic technician.

You say there should be other evidence that compliments or refutes the handwriting evidence. This is a good thing and there usually is other evidence. Finding a Lindbergh ransom bill in Hauptmann's wallet and finding Lindbergh ransom money well hidden in Hauptmann's garage is complimentary evidence. Isn't it?

I had a case one time where the authenticity of a signature was a very pivotal aspect of the case. I determined the signature was a forgery and testified with my exhibits and demonstrated to the court my observations and reasoning. Was I correct? Yes I was because on the date the questioned document was signed the plaintiff was in Israel on active duty with the Israeli Army. It was an absolute impossibility that the plaintiff signed the questioned document on the particular date. The attorney that engaged my services didn't tell me about his client being in Israel at the time of writing and that he had proof of that fact. I think he was looking for evidential over-kill when he hired me. I like that. If you have over-kill evidence by all means use it.

You didn't answer my question about Edward Oehler. What was his claim to fame? May I take an educated guess and mention the word Graphologist?

You were much too ready to believe Henry Paynter's cock and bull story to Fisher. He must have been some kind of a nut to tell Fisher such an outlandish story and have no fear of the consequences. It's a good thing Fisher didn't make any kind legal action using Paynter's story as the basis for that legal motion. Fisher would have gone down in flames quickly.

I'm not upset. A little nauseous but I'm not upset. Please continue the discussion.

Here is another Anthony Scaduto gift to humanity. The March 31, 1932 timesheet and his claim that it was fraudulently altered. Scaduto owns this one lock, stock, and barrel.

So a QDE can be either a man or a woman. But they are only "good" ones if they conclude as you do. Got it. I see you agree with Gideon Epstein. Why? Because he believes Hauptmann wrote the notes. So... more
