Bad Manners

Hi Bob, Bad manners have been on the rise in recent years, especially on the Internet and in social media. This is the downside of being able to, in effect, speak to others without having to see their faces, read their responses, by which I mean their affects. One can just throw out the most godforsaken insults and then run away, like a child having just broken a school window with a rock, and with the advantage that no one can see you or know who you are. It's an ugly picture, though I think that (for me anyway) the pluses of this Brave New Cyberworld far outweigh the minuses. I've found Ronelle's forum here way more a positive experience than a negative one. The negatives are there but they're few, and for this I am hugely thankful.
