Do you know if the Boad Nelly note was written on the same writing paper (carried by F.W. Woolworth's) as the rest of the notes?

When all is said and done, it seems feasible that Hauptmann could have written the note ahead of time but chose not to bring it with him for his St. Raymond's meeting with Condon. Having it in his back pocket so to speak and preferring to stick with his "8 houers" plan. Or he simply forgot it, and had to go back to his car for it.

Yes. By using the same method of comparison used to analyze the Nursery note and the March 4 ransom note.

Sorry, I clicked Send message before I meant to. And correction on the size of the ransom notes. I calculate them at about 6-1/8" in width by 7" in height each. The Boad Nelly note appears to be... more

Michael, I got similar measurements from the images in Haring's book, which I then used to determine the actual size of the notes, from the enclosed measurement scale. I also found a very similar... more
