Trendley's best skill was his ability to forge documents. Many times he was used to create writings which Lawyers would then utilize to get Handwriting "Experts" on the other side to authenticate. Neat trick right?

Was he "that" good or was/is the Science "that" weak?

So in the end what does it matter about who testified to what? Bloviate on one side then cross-examine on the other - and vice-versa. In the end it's all just a form of "educated" guess-work. Need a QDE? You'll find one for either side of a situation. Back then and today.
