Thanks for the memories! When I was a kid back in the 60's, I spent many hours at my Dad's work bench in the basement building things from wood. One very clear personal memory from that time is that I would always look for a few of his finishing nails for anything I was working on. There was just something about that nail design that I loved! I didn't know about the blunted point technique back then and only discovered this while discussing my hole punching evaluation with a fellow researcher in 2006.
