William H. Durling, 60., of West Main Street died Saturday afternoon at Greystone Park State Hospital after an
illness of one week. Besides his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Durling, he leaves two sons, Harry and Walter Durling, both
of this borough. Funeral services were held at Conroy's Funeral Home this afternoon with interment in Bound Brook
Cemetery.

TRENTON--Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Conroy Funeral Home, Bound Brook, for Gertrude Durling, 92.
She died Monday at Bellevue Care Center, Trenton. Mrs. Durling resided in Trenton for four years after having
lived in South Bound Brook most of her life. She was the wife of the late William Durling who died in 1947.
Surviving are two sons, Harry of Bound Brook and Walter of Leesburg, Fla., six grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 9:30-11. Interment will be in Bound Brook
Cemetery.

James S. Manners died at Mercer Hospital yesterday. He was a foreman for the Pennsylvania Railroad and a member
of Trenton Council No. 90, Jr. O. U. A. M.; the Veterans' Association and P. R. R. Relief. He is survived by three
daughters, Mrs. Edward Swick, of Bayonne; Mrs. Ernest Suarez, of Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Peter De Marco, of this
city, and five sons: Walter W., of Phillipsburg, N. H,; D. Wesley and James H., of Bayonne, and Harvey R. and
Frederick G., of this city. The funeral, which will be private, will be held at his home, 34 Franklin Street, Thursday
afternoon at 3 o'clock. The Rev. D. Wilson Hollinger will conduct the services, after which burial will take place in
Frenchtown. Friends may view the deceased tomorrow evening from 8 to 9 o'clock. Poulson has charge of the
arrangements.

Ceremony Performed in East State Street Home by Rev. Strock of Bethany Church.
Miss Bertha E. Manners, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Manners of 735 East State street, and Edgar
Swick of New Germantown, N. J., were married yesterday at the home of the bride's parents. The ceremony
took place at high noon and was performed by the Rev. Linius L. Strock, pastor of the Bethany Presbyterian
Church. The parlors of the Manners' home were prettily decorated with ferns and palms and flowers. The
bride was attired in pearl lansdowne, trimmed with applique lace. She carried a bouquet of white roses. The
maid of honor was Miss Ella Folk of Florence. She wore white silk, over pink muslin, and carried a bouquet
of carnations. The best man was William Coryell. The wedding march was played by Miss Florence
Shoenthaler. Mr. and Mrs. Swick left Trenton on the 3:45 train for Bayonne, N. J., where
they will take up their residence. Mr. Swick is employed as a stenographer and typewriter in New York. The
bride was the recipient of many handsome presents. The guest present at the wedding and the reception
