Last time a got this kind of attention on the board was when Kathy Mills send me a picture of Mamie Van Doren from 1958 lying across a bed looking so sexy and with eyes that said "come to me. I want to be touched by YOU"!! And she was smoking a cigarette.
I was actually surprised with the "tit" shot from Barbara Eden. I had never seen her in a picture like that. Yes it is just barely showing her right nipple, but I had always thought that kind of shot was beneath her standards. It is nice to know that her standards are like mine! I have several topless pictures of myself. I sent them to Playgirl back when Burt Reynolds was nude in that mag but I never got a reply. Clearly I must have put the wrong return address on my envelope!!!
I was watching my DVD of El Condor just now and I USUALLY FAST FOWARD PAST THE NUDE SCENE IN THAT FILM WHERE MARIANNA HILL TAKES OFF HER CLOTHES AND IS COMPLETELY NAKED IN FRONTAL, SIDE AND READ... more
Hi Bob-- I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Clint put the moves on Marianna Hill. She was a very good looking woman back then; I haven't seen any recent pictures of her, and I think she's been... more
From what I've read about such filming, nude scenes aren't usually "open" to viewing and I would've expected that to hold true back then even more than now. Only cast members and required personnel... more
I'm not implying that there weren't all manner of hyjinks going on, on movie sets. I think we've all seen enough scandal rags to know that! I think though, that work was work and professional... more
You know I would imagine Marianna Hill was the kind of girl (my kind of girl:-) who didn't give a damn if anybody watched. Heck they are all going to see it on the screen anyway. But I bet Lee chose... more
I just got to wondering, if Marianna Hill had a score card like Mamie, Shelly and Yvonne. Hmmmmmm! And even IF you were in existance in 1934 Bob, the only thing Bette would have wanted to do is... more
I'm with Bette Davis in the 1930's, Teresa Wright (doesn't she look lovely in the last scene of "The Best Years Of Our Lives" in 1946) in the 1940's and Mamie Van Doren in the 1950's. That is what it ... more
I didn't exist during a good number of those years either I must admit. Just as you didn't exist in 1965 when Lee kicked the door down in that hotel room and suddenly sees the "TUB LADY". Kelly... more
Where is Doc Brown and his Delorian when you need him, huh? I just looked up "The best years of our lives" and I will absolutely check it out. I really love the 1940's, and enjoy WWII movies. It... more
dressed in the 1940's. Virginia Mayo is looks hot in "The Best Years of Our Lives". But my favorite is Teresa Wright. She is so lovely to me. And I'm a huge Dana Andrews fan. I just really enjoy... more
I have it on DVD. I love it! My favorite characters are Homer and Wilma. This was such a bittersweet story line. But I do love the entire thing. Hoagy Carmichael is such a cool dude in this too. I... more
My favortie is a 1940 film called "Balls of Fire" staring Miss Stanwyck, Gary Cooper and Dana Andrews in one of his first roles. Laura with Gene Tierney (who was such a lovely young lady with this... more
I love your candid perspective about you torch for Clint Eastwood. I tend to carry my torch for Lee pretty high myself as do the other ladies here on the BadNet. I must say also that I, for one,... more
Alanna. Clinton Eastwood, Jr during the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and maybe today?:-) had an UNUSUAL STRONG APPETITE FOR SEX AND WOMEN!!! And I want to be one of them. Even NOW:=) Clint's critics and... more
Clint's a male version of Mamie Van Doren!! Yvonne De Carlo!! Shelly Winters!! :-) I may be wrong but I don't think Lee got around like those did. Sue asked Mamie on her website about Lee and Mamie... more
to your last comment ;-) And Clint has certainly aged well. My husband got me a framed autographed photo of Clint for our wedding anniversary, so he's not jealous either and understands it's all in... more
Since you like Virgina Mayo, you might like this pic I put on my blog... I scanned it from an old Photoplay magazine from 1954 that I picked up at a vintage shop:
Indeed. Bob O thinks May O had crazy sexy legs. And he said he has seen Virginia in about 20 films and there is always a scene or two where the show off her legs and great physical features. Even in... more
I posted that last message before I got ready. Didn't get to type ya what I was going to say (type). That is a new Virginia Mayo pic for me. Thank you so much as I will put that one in my computer... more
Yes I'm a Virginia Mayo fan and love her looks and long sexy legs. I watch a movie on TV if she is in it just to see her. I don't care what the movie is. I'll watch it IF Vriginia is in it. She is a... more

Several pictures of him there and have you seen the episode of "My Mother the Car"? There is THE shower scene with Lee Van Cleef that the girls here really like. You can access that episode on Lee's... more
My Mother the Car is a good one! I heard about that one here. BobO is welcome to the blog anytime, and tell him he should come back here soon—not that I don't love you Fanny Annie ;-)
I tried to watch Virginia last night at midnight on TCM with Ronald Reagan in "Working Her Way Through College". But I feel asleep about half way and it was off when I woke up. Virginia looked... more
Lee also mentioned the he (at the time) was "still healthy". In the sense that he was still able to appreciate a roll in the hay. At least that's the impression I got from that remark.;} Hmmmm!
Hi Alanna-- I, too, read that from Lee's words. That's one particular quirk I really like about Lee: he has a hip, but subtle way of revealing otherwise risque ideas. I think this rings true because... more
Rpyal Dano was a terriffic actor. I remember seeing him as the guest of honor at the Rose Bowl Parade one year. Also he could look very much like President Lincoln. The only Royal/Lee Van Cleef... more
Hi Bob-- Yes! Lee & Royal were the highlights to a fairly ordinarily oater in TRIBUTE TO A BAD MAN. It's too bad they only had about two scenes in the film. Yes, Royal played timid men in both THE... more
appeared together in Tribute to a Bad Man and Posse From Hell. Incidentally, I always thought that Dano would have been perfect for the Al Mulloch part in GBU. What say you guys?
Hi Alanna-- I could totally see that, but I'd also suggest him in the part of either the sheriff who rolls out the Wanted Poster of Tuco ("Recognize this man? Yeah! It's You!"), or as one of the men... more
would have served Dano better. There was a little more dialogue and the part was a bit bigger. I wouldn't want Royal Dano to have what would have amounted to a cameo/walk-on part. He was a much more... more
One other thought crossed my mind--I do like the idea of Royal Dano in a Leone Western. I would have liked to have seen Royal in FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE as one of El Indio's crew members. Think about... more
Then be sure to check it out--it's one of Coop's best roles, and aside from Royal, the great Robert J. Wilke plays an LVC-esque heavy, especially in the final showdown. You won't be disappointed.... more
I forgot to write this in my previous post, but I'm sure you probably observed this. There are so many terrific character actors, but Royal Dano is one of my all-time favorites. When an actor can... more

Hi Bob-- Hehe...I would know the end of the world is upon us if you didn't know Robert J. Wilke and the LVC connection! ;) I loved Gary Cooper in MAN OF THE WEST, but just like in HIGH NOON, the... more

Yeah I read everything I could get my hands one in 1970 about Marianne Hill. Too bad no internet back then. Heck no DVD or VHS then either. I had to spend half a weeks pay and see El Condor 29 times... more
I think El Condor is free On Demand right now, so I think that's the next one I'll watch. Now I know they'll be something in there for the hubby :-) From what I'm hearing/reading Lee seems like he... more
What do you mean Lee was more of an upstanding gentleman than some of the other actors back then?? You mean MOST of the other actors back then!! He He. Even back in the 1930's, the people in... more

Actually I was just joking about sending a picture of me to Playgirl. But Burt Reynolds did do a (I think it was their first) nude foldout spread and it sold over a million copies. This magazine was... more
As somebody mentioned, Callie (MH) goes out of her way to bump into The Stranger, and I love what he says to her: "There's no need for that. If you want to get acquainted, why don't you just say so?" ... more
Actually I don't remember that scene as well as I thought. Trying to fight off Clint and act as if she was "being taken advantage of" or "victim of a rape" was really an act by Hill's character. She... more
Of course it was an act, but Callie was a sly fox. You saw that the instant she strode towards Clint, determined to make physical contact. "You know what you are? Just trash!" Right Callie--that's... more
It's interesting—you and bobO have very different opinions on that scene. I think it's left up to the viewer to decide whether or not what happens in the barn is or is not solicited. I think it walks ... more
it is distrubing to me too. I'm being serious. Movies that depict awful violence such as "In Cold Blood" and we have innocent people shot and murdered and women raped is most disturbing to me. There... more
Well, Clint certainly put the moves on her in High Plains Drifter! I'm still not sure what to make of that scene—I'll bet it was quite controversial when it came out.
But like in the movie Goldfinger where James Bond (Sean Connery) forces himself on Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman), Marianna Hill does the same. She tried to stop Clint and pounds and beats and it is... more
