Harry Dean SINGS! ;)

Glad you're OK with all the Fires, Britzen...

...and yep, the only thing close to a Regret that I've ever heard Harry Dean utter, was that he never made a serious effort at pursuing his singing career. He loved Music, and you can find a number of videos and recordings out there, where he accompanies more established artists.

Also, in the bio-documentary by Sophie Huber, HARRY DEAN STANTON: Partly Fiction [2012], he sings a lot! I'd say easily half the film comprises simple headshots of HDS singing classic songs, as his friend Jamie James plays guitar. (Harry Dean played guitar, too, but I don't recall him actually pickin' during this doc.)

I haven't done a proper HDS-fest yet, myself...partly because he's been in so many films I enjoy, that I've watched him in several things very recently.

One Wim Wenders film that I've been "saving" -- and generally considered Harry Dean's finest role (and his only Lead) -- is PARIS, TEXAS. I'm in the Reservation line for it at the Library, so hope to get it in the next few weeks.

Stay safe, Britzen...and all!
