... to read that fans thought he wasn't successful. There are many ways to measure success and money and limelights are not the only one. Many great artists gained fame (and would have become super rich) post mortem. And if he was content with what he did (something we will NEVER be able to know, really...) that would be fine with me.

And believe me, I am also watching the "me too" movement and the dynamics it develops. Hopefully that will raise standards and make people think about what they are doing, ideally before they start doing anything. And I agree with you, it is a power/self-confidence issue, not a sex issue.
