Leo Gordon. LVC & posters
Fri Jan 5, 2018 5:09am

An' here I figured you'd go on to wax nostalgic on Leo Gordon & Van Cleef's friendship --- unless I'm mistaken, bobO? I can't find it in my notes (probably on one of my flash drives), but I'm pretty sure they were pals...

Speakin' o' The Duke, his ill-fated production THE CONQEROR is one of the pair of films in which Lee an' Leo shared the Silver Screen -- t'other bein' TEN WANTED MEN, with another wHorleyWood Western legend,

Randolph Scott (also Producing with Harry Joe Brown, under their "Ranown" company). For those curious, RED SUNDOWN doesn't count, as LVC didn't actually participate in that one: he only appears briefly in a Dream Sequence by another pal, Rory Calhoun (the scene's from DAWN AT SOCORRO, iirc).

That reminds me, bobO --- I need to call Tara. ;)

Best an' all,
PostScript: for some reason, the pic from TWM didn't'll have to click the link , I guess. ;P
