FAFDM drive in

Later when it played at the drive inn, presto Alberto Grimaldi's name as producer was suddenly inserted at the beginning of the film and how it was done actually interrupts the flow of the smoke turning into the credits. In the 1980s I read an interview with Grimaldi in the Washington Post I believe it was and he acknowledged Sergio as the best SW director and one of the best directors in the world. But added to take some of his claims with a grain of salt.

On For A Few Dollars More I eventually noticed smoke blown in view of the camera after Sergio lit the smoke (cigar/pipe/cigarette??) but this was after Alberto Grimaldi's name was added to the... more

Plus the scene is a set up for a generic bounty hunter. You could be right but the way the poor man is shot a such a distance, an assassination if you will, doesn't fit the way Clint's character... more

Hi DCG. I just watched your link to refresh my memory. Yes he whistles then just before he lights his cigar, he hums. And to the right you see smoke. Then when he fires the rifle more smoke. That... more

What do you think was the reason Gramaldi was left off the credits? Was it an oversight or done intentionally? It seems unlikely the darn producer is not likely to be over looked. And for decades the ... more
