It's possible there might have been one or more Jews when I was a kid. Jews did no wrong, ever, in the ones I had, but that may have been the Protestant viewpoint too. The books were also very pro-Israeli. I actually personally agreed with some of the political viewpoints because California is pretty moderate usually, but I didn't think it was *ethically correct* to indoctrinate kids in some of those areas. I would prefer a more journalistic non editorializing approach myself. Some textbooks, the ones you consider politically correct, did attempt slightly to present several viewpoints. The problem is, semesters/quarters are short, and there is a heck of a lot of history to get through.
