MirageRe: not you, specificallyFri Mar 30, 2012 21:38184.108.40.206I think I am speaking up. I'm saying some unpopular stuff, though, along with the popular stuff. I don't want to, but I have to. I can't support lynch mobs. I don't support lynch mobs in any form, literal or otherwise. All lynch mobs are unrighteous in my view. Period. And yes, I hesitated before using that loaded word, but it's the right word, so I typed it anyway. I also don't support bounties being put on people by private citizens no matter what they have done, much less what they may have done. I just don't, and I am glad that Jesse Jackson has criticized the New Black Panthers for that. I dare to hope that maybe Farrakhan will, but maybe that's too much to ask for. Most of all, I wish MLK, Jr. could still speak up. I often wonder what America would be like today if he hadn't been murdered.
I do wish our culture didn't admire Dirty Harry so much.
- not you, specifically Frashavan, Fri Mar 30 16:43I see your points. I just think people do need to speak up.
