It can be very hard for parents

I was a severe, chronic asthmatic from infancy. It must have been very hard on my parents.

The only two things I know for sure was my Mother told someone once, and I overheard, how much she hated giving me adrenalin shots when I was a baby. Of course, they hurt and she felt bad doing it. I also know that when i was between 11-13 I had a chronic pain condition, and the cost of treating it (there were endless prescriptions, most of which did not work) set them back financially.... Thank god we have public health insurance hear in Canada, but still they had to take time off work to take me, and had to drive me all over.

I realize now that I test right at the edge of the autism spectrum, and have many of the characteristics. It explains a lot, actually.
