As they say in the old country--No Shit, Charlie!!! Our govt. has always used fear as a major tool. Bush/Cheney simply took that to the next level. I was talking about using fear in interpersonal relationships--even more specifically, those you wish to keep and cherish. Using fear then is counter productive--at least I've found it so.
