The cosmopolital nature of it today has generally changed the Aussie outlook of "a fair go". However the recent invasive wave of Muslim refugee migration in all its forms has woken us up to what is perceived to be a real threat, esp. since 9/11 and the new wave of boat people here sponsored by big $$$ people smugglers.
If there is one factor which will cause the current Labor government to be voted out of office at the next election, it will be their failure to stop the boats and other migration stuff-ups recently revealed by the ABC tv network.
