For me, the Psalms are Torah too.

In Medieval understanding, the Muslims acknowledge both Jesus and Moses ... something Jews don't do, so yes, he might have preferred Muslims to Jews, as being halfway converted to Lutheranism ... though I think not. Jews and Muslims are closer theologically to each other than either are to Christianity.
