Just applied a 70% solution of DMSO to my knee, and was rather taken aback because it did not seem to absorb very well at all, nor did I get that garlicky taste I was supposed to get. It is pharmaceutical grade... has anybody else used this stuff?

    What are you using it for? Just pain relief? I bought a gallon of it 10 yrs ago and still haven't used it. It can be used to transport other substances through the skin also.

    A Vet I worked for used it on his own dog and it helped a lot. You could smell the garlic when you walked into the kennel.
