It sounds like you are saying that you brew the first cup and throw that out. You then brew a second cup and this will be caffiene free? It would also be pretty weak no? I think you are right about the white tea...if I'm not mistaken this is simply just a difference of when it is harvested. Here is a tidbit from a site re: this.
