This is interesting to read. I am currently undergoing 5 bi-monthly infusions of Rituximab which is actually the same thing as the "new" Ocrevus talked about here. The Rituximab was doing very well in the 1st and 2nd stage of the studies but was stopped since the patent was runny out and of course they had to go in and tweak it to get another patent running and it became Ocrevus. These 5 infusions that I am undergoing are just the follow up to the stem cell transplant that I had March 2016. I should already be done with them by now but had some issues with Trigeminal Neuralgia that I had to work on first. I'm hoping that the Rituximab does what it is supposed to do and clear up any rogue B cells that got missed with the transplant procedure. Hopefully I'll know in 8 months time.
