Marilyn chose Medical Assistance in Dying on Monday morning and did not think it a coincidence that she would be leaving during an eclipse. We had a fine day on Sunday reviewing old pictures, recalling old friends – remembering our life. She was quite at peace with her decision and in good spirits. She was looking forward to her next leap and said to say “I’ve gone travelling”. Of all her accomplishments, she was most proud of the work she did on this forum.

Marilyn recorded a series of guided “Life Story” interviews with a local volunteer in June. If you are interested, the 4 1-hour interviews are available to be streamed or downloaded at https://1drv.ms/f/s!Ah4lW7dXuag5gSjMq2cpvkugypgp. There are also a few of my favorite pictures there as well as her farewell letter.

Thanx for the thought, Jeanie. It'll be a while before I discover what the new normal will be, but I'm keeping busy doing that which needs to be done.
