thyroid problems

There is a Facebook group called beating thyroid disease with LDN. You may want to check this out. It's mostly women. My husband took levothyroxine or the natural desiccated armour for over 30 years. Never did feel right. Stop taking it completely over a year ago. After about 8 months without levo started taking LDN but started at too high of a dose 4.5mg and became hyper. Stopped the LDN until about 2 weeks ago and is starting again at .5 mg and so far is doing well. He hasn't had his Labs checked but we'll have that done in a few months. There are others on the site have been able to stop the thyroid medication and only take LDN, and others who take some thyroid medication and LDN. It may be worth looking into, But be sure to look at the protocol suggested for thyroid before starting it, too high of a dose can make you hyper. Good luck to all. If you have any other questions just ask I'll try to answer.
