((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Dear Christine,))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Thanks for reading my long rambling words and sharing your current fears with us. We do know what it is like to live with this scary diagnosis hanging over our head better than many other people. Even those with cancer in another part of the body, since our mind contains the very essense of who we are and what we can do in the future. Christine you are already a strong 10 year m survivor others can admire. And my dear m friend Karen always used to say, "If it doesn't kill you, it makes you stronger." From now to March 5th and 6th your name will be marked on my calendar too for my prayers that everyday you are planning on doing at least one of your favoite enjoyable activities you love most with the people you love to do them with. And it sounds like you already are in good hands and have an excellent doctor in NYC with a skilled and experienced staff at an excellent hospital. Now its probably time to "Let go and let GOD handle it for you." and another old favorite saying of mine with hindsight is, "When GOD brings it to us, GOD will get us through it."
I loved your reference comparing your present experience to Ground Hog Day.
Sending my own warm fuzzy cyberhugs with huge hugs for YOU all the way to NYC. ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Christine)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
and GBYAY means GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL YOURS and good bye for now, Ta ta
From one of your old meningimates who had her own two surgeries 14 years apart in 1986 and in 2000 and it was easier because at least I sort of knew what to expect post op for a few weeks and months even ten years ago.

GBYAY Anne Breen, not a superwoman at all, sometimes a crybaby and a wimp lol just an experienced meningioma survivor, who is not a patient medical consumer and who is still an avid informed reader especially when my own life was at stake. I searched high and low on my own computer until I found a safer tested alternative drug therapy to prevent another recurrence and to further postpone any more aggressive treatments because I was still very young and didn't want to have any type of popular pallitive brain radiation that has been doctor recommended several times to me since 1992 for a recurrent residual low grade 2 non malignant brain tumor condition.
From the many thousands of meningioma patients that were diagnosed each year from 26 years ago like me, I have only met two in person who can still use a computer. Apparently still NO ONE has bothered to actually medically record or document what has eventually happened more than five or ten years later in the lives of other old time meningioma survivors like me.
