when vaccinated, the memory cells of the humoral system tends to remember the exposure of the weakened antigens and on future exposure with the actual antigen, it is able to provide immunity against it. also, we know about the booster dose that is needed. my question is what is the life span of these memory cells?it is definitely much more than the plasma cells. but how is it able to produce life long immunity?do the memory cells that go on dividing pass on the information till the end??
