My fellow countrymen,
For those who are committed to peace and eventually a world without nuclear weapons I must inform you that the decision to install a missile defense shield in Eastern Europe could seriously threaten US-Russian relations and the future of global disarmament. I served as an anti-intrusion alarm specialist for the Minuteman nuclear missile system. Both the west and east arsenals will again be put on hair trigger status as a result of US foreign policy and excessive meddling in the affairs of other nations.
