A Denver-bound Southwest Airlines flight out of Phoenix made an emergency landing Sunday morning at the Colorado Springs Airport after pilots reported smoke in the cockpit.

Authorities are inspecting the jet, which landed without incident at 11:42 a.m., said Agnes Blachut, public affairs administrator for the airport.

Southwest sent another plane to Colorado Springs to pick up the 141 passengers on board, none of whom reported injuries, Blachut said.

The plane had 8,000 pounds of fuel loaded.

Southwest's media relations department did not return a call for comment.
