In my campaign for Dallas County Sheriff I am learning a lot about the powers of the sheriff. Please let me know of any precedent cases of a county sheriff trumping the federal government, stopping the federal government from enforcing unconstitutional laws on county residents. Thanks!!!

Today, increasingly, the Federal Government and all their agencies want to impose new federal laws on Dallas County residents, and on countys throughout Nation with immigration problems, gun confiscation, revenue actions and business closures, more taxation, and FEMA emergency intervention with Martial Law overtones. U.S Senator Cornyn, Governor Perry, and Lt Governor and U.S. Senate Candidate Dewhurst have all voiced their distain for the Federal Government and have reminded us of Texas' 10th Amendment Constitutional rights. Will Rogers once said, "Don't worry when the Federal Government doesn't do anything. When they do nothing they don' hurt anybody!"
We are still involved in the 7 year long Federal City Hall corruption case involving Brian Potashnik, Laura Miller, and Don Hill. Mr. Hill has recently filed his appeal and may get out soon pending the appeal. This was the worse case of government corruption is City history. We are just about 1 year into the FBIs John Wiley Price et al case, and this case may be much worse than the City Hall corruption case. It is quite obvious from the Dallas Morning News, the same paper that indicted, tried and convicted Don Hill before his trial even started, and the same paper that coronated Laura Miller, it is now quite obvious to the News, the same paper that has helped Mr. Price stay in office for 25 years, even up to 2 months before the FBI raid, that Commissioner Price will be indicted, found guilty, and go to prison. But's what's missing or falls way short in both the Potasnik-Miller-Hill and the John Wiley Price et al cases? The "WHITE" factor, the"WHITE' guilt is missing. In the Potashnik case, according to attorney Ray Jackson, the FBI had sufficient evidence to indict Laura Miller. Instead, Laura Miller got an FBI deal, and became a witness vs. Don Hill. Potasnik, a "WHITE" man, and the ring leader in the case, served 9 months of his 14 months sentence, and is now free to spend his $40 million ill-begotten fortune. Potashnik's wife got off, served no jail time, while Don's wife Sheila is serving her 14 year sentence. In the John Wiley Price et al Federal case, there is no "WHITE" factor, case vs a "WHITE" man, or men. The NEWS has connected Price to two well know white men, but the FBI states they don't have a case vs. either men
Has anyone ever heard of the FBI's Cointelpro activities? During the initial months of the FBI's investigation of JW PRICE, KATHY NEALY, DAPHNEY FAIN, ET AL, a number of well known black leaders and mnisters in public meetings and press conferences stated that John Wiley Price is innocent of all allegations, and that Price is being targeted by the FBI's Cointelpro group to bring him down, to take away John Wiley Price's power, who is a great Black Dallas civil rights leader, and who has so well served the Black community. I agree that there's an FBI Cointelpro operation going on but it's not about bringing down a great Black leader like Martin Luther King Jr., or Malcolm X. To me, and many, many others John Wiley Price is guilty and should go to prison. Former Commissioner Mayfield told me so! The alleged John Wiley Price Cointelpro operation is about stirring up racial tensions with the lack of "WHITE" culprits, and all the other stress factors in the Black community today. I say Dallas is worse off than the pre-Watts riots. Police Chief Brown has just publically voiced his concerns over the increased tensions between the police and the community. Look at eh police presence at the West End Train station. I say the FBI and local co-conspirators, have set up circumstances for the PERFECT RACE RIOT. which will cause the deaths of hundreds, the arrest of thousands, and the institution of Martial Law in Dallas. As your new Sheriff, to avert such a disaster, I would immediately enact states rights, remove the Federal agencies involved in the John Wiley Price et al investigations, and as soon as possible indict John Wiley Price, Ross Perot Jr., and Mayor Mike Rawlings. These actions will go a long way to ease racial tensions in Dallas. May God be with us Today until His will is done!
