stimulating the brain's "muscainic" neurons just like mechanical
parasympathetic stimulation, like the choking game. The Hindus called
muscarine "Soma" and used it in their temples to enter the Underworld.This article said that this new synthetic muscarine was as effective as "tracheal massage". But, those who push on their tracheas have to be careful not to injure the thyroid and parathyroids. The
parathyroids secrete parathyroid hormone into the blood stream to allow calcium to buffer he blood stream from becomng too alkaline. If the parathyroids are detached the pH (alkalinity) goes up until the body
elecrocutes itself with the loose electrons from the extra hydroxyl ions. It is called alkaline tetany and it is like strychnine poisoning.
All the muscles cramp up an spasm until the victims can't breathe and that's how they die. It's a horrible death. In Stephen King's "Cujo" the dog had torn out someone's parathyroids and the body was shown shaking on the floor like it was being electrocuted. Witches have to be careful about this.
