1) Health

2) Income
a) Go to the nearest DISABLE AMERICAN VETERAN'S (DAV) office and file for the Veteran's Pension. It is $1,021 per month for the rest of your life and it takes 30-90 days to get.
b) File under the HISA grant for dental.
c) File for free "Health Care."
c) The Veteran's Disability is a totally different program. The head of the VA, General Schenski) is about to be paid a $5 Million Dollar Bonus to deny your claim so it will be a long road.
Shoot for 30% for Hiring Preferences and at 60% Federal Law automatically bounces you up to 100% - file through the Disabled American Vets (DAV)
DO NOTHING THROUGH THE VA, ONLY THE DAV OR AMERICAN LEGION.
3) Homeless
a) Call the American Legion Homeless Hot Line. Call your local American Legion Office for the local number.
b) You my want to move to a place where rent is low - like the country or Arkansas.
4) In an Old Folks Home
a) Contact veteransaid.org
Harbor and ask for the Veteran's representative. Then ask for your local representative.
As an Old Fart you qualify for $1700/mo and when you croak your wife will receive about $1,000 per month.
