About Donations

Dear Reader,
Thank you for your continued readership.
The UFO Chronicles was borne back in 2005 (under the previous name of Nam Et Ipsa Scientia Potestas Est, or “Knowledge is Power”); much like “Project Sign” of the late ‘40’s, our mission statement is to collect, collate, evaluate, and disseminate information concerning UFOs and related phenomenon.
Initially, the site (under the a fore mentioned title) primarily was a repository for UFO reports; a platform for myself and my colleagues to put the proverbial pen to paper, as well as a portal to share research from time to time.
During the last 5 years it has grown into so much more.
Currently, we’re being read in over 170 countries and our readership is growing exponentially; one reason for the consistent growth is the ever-changing and expanding format of our site.
Our regular readers are cognizant of the fact that we offer a platform for UFO reports as they appear on the Internet in real time.
Additionally, we offer articles, op-eds, press releases, video & audio presentations and commentary etc., from notable researchers and or organizations in the field.
Moreover, we will soon be lending our voice (literally) to the electronic ether via Internet Radio.
As one might surmise, there is a great deal of work involved with maintaining the site on a day-to-day basis; early on much thought was given to the idea of bringing in sponsors, i.e., advertising; at the time, although the potential income was appealing, quite frankly the notion of having ads littering the site was not palatable to me; henceforth the decision was made to enable our readers to offer donations via PayPal. Be that as it may, this year we will be adding some advertising in congruence with reader donations in order to keep The UFO Chronicles' engine churning. Great care will be taken on ad placement, type and the melding of such with our content.
I feel it’s important to point out that this is a “researchers web-site”; I am proactive in UFO research, as are all of our contributors, writers etc; any and all stipends will help to further ongoing research, ensure that the site continues to grow and expand, while maintaining the steady content we publish.
In conclusion, whether you’re a researcher, UFO enthusiast, abecedarian or are just plain curious, if you’ve enjoy The UFO Chronicles, please consider making a donation!
No amount is to small, and large amounts are certainly welcome; there is currently a “PayPal donation” button at the top right sidebar of the site and all forms of payment are negotiable (credit cards etc).
