One thing you can be sure about is this. The US government has a chosen coterie of certified, bona fide, guaranteed, dyed in the wool, true blue liars in its hope chest. If there is one thing that stands out when discussing the hand picked Our Gang Comedy in our government it's the total predominance of sinister characters that fit into their jobs like hand in glove. We've all read fictional spy novels, yet the most shattering stories are the ones that are true.
In your mind, just think about the many shady characters that have been dragged out, again, to "serve" this nation's needs. These loyal stalwarts engender nothing but sterling characteristics, things like being willing to "lie for the government to subjugate the population". Our biggest vulnerability centers around this "security thing". Make people fearful, lie to them incessantly about how we are under constant attack from those nasty apparatchiks from other nations. Make us insecure, and then make us feel secure by spending incessantly for the weapons of war. Stress how many jobs are being provided in industries that build these monstrosities. Cheapen human life, kill at will. Kill indirectly with drones, make us feel like this impersonal murder is somehow more sterilized than hand to hand combat that produces more slash wounds and bullet holes.
Think about our long gone "democracy". Realize that this was always meant to be an elitist's nation, a rich man's nation. This nation grew to be a place where heavily educated people were sent to graduate school where they got their PhD's in lying. It was said that as a nation of laws, we had to have lawyers as our elected representatives, things were just so complicated, you know! Stupid liars are disgusting, but smart liars are nothing short of demonic. Unfortunately, our liars are brilliant. There is no limit to what this nation will do to find and employ exceptional liars.
Now that our Supreme Court is filled with braying, black robed politicians, all hope is lost. For a couple centuries, it was said that we are a nation of laws and without laws we are nothing but a howling mob. Now, we find our lawyers, officers of the court, laughing incessantly. "Hey, when I go home to my constituents, I tell 'em lies and they love me. I promise them my best effort and I give it to them. Yeah, I use my best lies about how concerned I am about them and how I will watch over them like a chicken hawk over the flock of chickens". Why waste time lying in the back room when you can lie to our faces? It's a bigger kick to lie overtly, it becomes the language of the land, accepted by Master Card, Visa, and American Express.
Do yourselves a favor, please. Go to eBay and order a custom printed hat with the words, "Watch them Lie". Give our elected officials their due. After all, they were duly nominated and elected in service of the Holy Lie. These are special people, these liars. Watch them focus on what's on your plate, they want to eat your lunch and they will. Remember that there are simply no truths emanating from our Holy City of DC anymore. If we can keep these things in mind, we'll feel better and we won't expect anything from these liars ever again. Except lies, that is....
