Life Legacy

Kenneth Lee Vardon 75, passed away on January 10, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. He was born on February, 15, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to Kenneth and Dorothy (Burk) Vardon.

Kenneth grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He joined the Navy in 1956 at the age of 17 and served for 14 years. He served in the Vietnam War. He was further schooled in the Navy as a Radioman achieving certified speed key operator of Morse code (30 wpm). He also attended advanced electronics training, crypto repair equipment and teletype repair training. He was assigned several Flag command; COMNAVAIRPAC, COMPHIBPAC, and COMPHIBGROUP ONE during the fourteen years of military service. Ken holds three honorable discharges, and various honors and awards, he was discharged 15 Oct 1969

Ken began work for Data Automation Communications - Tech. rep. promoted to sales of teletype terminals and computer time sharing services. In 1972 he started his own business Vardon and Associates Inc. in Dallas Texas and was very successful. In 1993 he started the AMERICAN PATRIOT FRIENDS NETWORK (APFN)

Ken married to Joan in 2011 in Peoria, AZ. They were happily married for 3 years.

Ken is survived by his wife Joan of Peoria. His children: Claudine Darling, Dorothy Erickson, Kenneth Vardon and Cindy Vardon. He has 10 grand children and 10 great grand children.
