Dr Ian Fairlie, radiation biology expert educated at Princeton Univ. who has worked for the UK government and European Parliament (pdf), Aug 2015 (emphasis added): … the human toll from Fukushima is horrendous: 2,000 Japanese people have died from the evacuations and another 5,000 are expected to die from future cancers… Recently, Dr Alfred Körblein from Nuremburg in Germany noticed a 15% drop (statistically speaking, highly significant) in the numbers of live births in Fukushima Prefecture in December 2011… He also observed a (statistically significant) 20% increase in the infant mortality rate in 2012… The official widely-observed policy is that small amounts of radiation are harmless: scientifically speaking this is untenable… the Japanese Government is attempting to increase the public limit for radiation in Japan from 1 mSv to 20 mSv per year… This is not only unscientific, it is also unconscionable… In sum, the health toll from the Fukushima nuclear disaster is horrendous… The Fukushima accident is still not over and its ill-effects will linger for a long time into the future. However we can say now that the nuclear disaster at Fukushima delivered a huge blow to Japan and its people… It is impossible not to be moved by the scale of Fukushima’s toll in terms of deaths, suicides, mental ill-health and human suffering. Fukushima’s effect on Japan is similar to Chernobyl’s massive blow…

Dr Fairlie, Aug 20, 2015: Fukushima… Thousands More Will Die… [It's] difficult for lay people and journalists to understand what the real situation is… The 2013 UNSCEAR Report has estimated that the collective dose to the Japanese population from Fukushima is 48,000 person Sv: this is a very large dose… it can be reliably estimated… that about 5,000 fatal cancers will occur in Japan in future from Fukushima’s fallout… Plus similar (unquantified) numbers of radiogenic strokes, CVS diseases and hereditary diseases…

Rossiya Segodnya (Russian gov’t news agency) – Sputnik, Aug 20, 2015: Unspoken Death Toll of Fukushima: Nuclear Disaster Killing Japanese Slowly – The Japanese government is still in denial and refuses to recognize the disastrous consequences of the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe, London-based independent consultant on radioactivity Dr. Ian Fairlie states, adding that while thousands of victims have already died, thousands more will soon pass away. According to… Fairlie, the health toll from the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe is horrific… an estimated 5,000 will most likely face lethal cancer in the future, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. What makes matters even worse, the nuclear disaster and subsequent radiation exposure lies at the root of the longer term health effects, such as cancers, strokes… hereditary effects and many more.

Alfred Korblein, MD, former Sr. Scientist at Munich Environmental Institute & Univ. of Bremen professor, Nov 2014: … infant mortality in 7 prefectures near Fukushima is significantly increased in 2012… with a maximum in May… [My Feb 2014 study] compared infant mortality rates in… the prefectures Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi, Gunma, Tochigi, Ibaraki and Chiba, with the rates in the rest of Japan… A significant 25% increase was found in the first 9 months of 2012… There is a highly significant 91% increase of infant mortality in March 2011… likely an immediate effect of the earthquake and tsunami.

Dr. Korblein, Feb 2014: After the Fukushima nuclear disaster in March 2011, infant mortality rates in the most radioactively-contaminated Prefectures around Fukushima increased… The increase is statistically significant. In December 2011, nine months after the accident, a highly significant 10% drop in live births occurred… First evaluations of the monthly data for infant mortality rates in Japan after Fukushima showed significant peaks in May and December 2011. In addition, an Analysis of the numbers of live births in Fukushima Prefecture found a highly significant 15% decrease in December 2011…

Sarcasm at the Nukepro

Radiation is a conspiracy theory.
Just because we've seen a couple UME's and multi-species die-offs along the Pacific since 2011 doesn't mean anything, its only been

Here are more reports on human deaths resulting from Fukushima, to add to the resource list I posted to counter the, "No one has died from the Fukushima Nuclear disaster", non sense.

10th March 2015 Japan’s nuclear-related deaths rise by 18%

Tokyo – A total of 1,232 deaths in Japan's Fukushima prefecture over the past year were linked to the nuclear accident four years ago, up 18% from a year earlier, a news report said on Tuesday.

By ex Daiichi worker, from 2012 –

'One day I was taking a cigarette break with a coworker. When we finished our break, I stood up and called out to my still-seated coworker: 'Wanna get going soon?' But he didn't move. He was dead. The dead body was not returned to his family because of radiation. They poured cement over the body and carted that off to J village area. I have no idea what happened to the corpse after that.'

5,000 deaths due to Fukushima radiation? How much can they lowball this? More on the order of 50,000,000 deaths, if you count ALL the complications from the 2,000+ known man-made radioactive isotopes.

Oh, and we haven't figured in the rest of the Asia Pacific and Northern Hemisphere regions. Maybe 1/2 billion more deaths, eventually?

I forgot, they're not looking that far ahead. Maybe because they know most of us are toast due to just this one nuke plant, let alone all the other rust buckets ready to puke out their sick nuclear guts and spew their spent fuel nuke puke everywhere.

So, let's see, that might be 500,000,000 + 50,000,000 deaths, or somewhere on the order of 550,000,000 minus the lowball estimate of 5,000 deaths. That's an underestimate of 549,995,000 deaths. They're off by a factor of 110,000 times or 11,000,000%

But what does Ho know?

Personally, I expect 150,000,000 deaths in the Northern Hemisphere alone from this over time, if we even last on this planet for 200 more years. At least 100,000,000 in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, Central America to a lesser degree. And perhaps another 50,000,000 deaths in Europe and the rest of the N. Hemisphere, excepting the other Pacific Rim countries.

I'm guessing half a billion people in the Pacific Rim will eventually die due to Fukushima.

The cradle of life, the ocean, is being wholesale slaughtered.

Signed, sealed, delivered, scientifically documented.

OK, yer arskh_ _ _ _ (so sorry, I hate to use profanity), yers ken quite lyin' to us nowz.

But oh no, it's still, "circle the wagons, boys!" for the nuclear industry, and their cult of DEATH AND DESTRUCTION.

I rue the day some of my close relatives became highly placed officials and technical "experts" in this death-dealing mess.

I'm cryin', cryin'

Yellow mellow custard, dripping from a dead dog's eye.

Sorry to use such graphic images, but after seeing how the seals and walruses have suffered, the sea creatures, the horrific carnage, seeing pictures of animals which have gnawed on rocks whie they starve to death – is just too much for me.

Today I'm just p.o.'ed about this. I hate what they have done to us all. I don't hate them because they are fools, but they are without excuse.

Our world is dying before our very eyes.

He is starting down the road, AGRP put some numbers to his stats..

Tens of thousands dead in just four years, counting ONLY the infants or stillborn/aborted.

5000 deaths…. what a farce.

It is many orders of magnitude worse than that. If you have a functioning brain and understand just how fragile organic life forms are you would know this.

Just found out lost a friend to aggressive thyroid cancer here on the west coast..add her to those 5000.

We will lose millions because of this one and it's only a matter of time.

Add the two other non smokers who just died from lung cancer too.

These death by cancer stories are everywhere now.

Thanks Nuclear! :(

What blows my mind is that 1 in 2 is the "norm" for cancer now and yet everyone I talk to about this insanity thinks it's fine and actually normal…. like I'm the crazy one.

What the flying phuck…?

"They are owed more than they have gotten."

Two weeks ago I attempted to opt out of the invitation to the fish restaurant. I was told that there were special orders that could be placed. Five relatives, two of whom had already been operated on for breast cancer, sat and ate fish, albeit from the Southern Hemisphere. The relative to my left was in shock, she had just been told her daughter has leukemia and was undergoing a full body scan that day. Her daughter has two small children, they have flown to a number of countries in recent times. I did not ask whether Japan was one of them. Another of the group leaves for the US this week.

A few weeks ago as I viewed the recent CPM’S in North America, I bit my tongue as my daughter and grandson flew back to the US.

Would it help for any to learn that it is already stated (if I recall correctly), that one in two people will get cancer in their lifetime?

Where will the money come from?
