I have bought a VHS video made by the Discovery Channel back in 1989. Its called RETURN TO TARAWA. This program is hosted by Bill Burrud. Its about Marine veterans returning to Betio to honor their fallen comrades on the 45 year anniversary .

It has pieces of interviews by 12 veterans of the battle:

This is a great piece of history, I am going to get it transfered to DVD, anyone interested (what a stupid question but I have to ask) There is also a second topic on this VHS interviewing Norman Hatch.

I was very excited when I found this in a swapmeet bin, God Bless and Happy 2012!!
