Here is a photo that Romain sent to me and asked me to post. It was published in the French magazine ARMES MILITARIA in 1995. While the name on the tank is difficult to see here, Romain says that it is clear in the magazine and is CHICAGO. Note the full length radio antenna on the tank turret. Note also that the position of the turret and the gun elevation are the same as when the tank was in the water at Red Beach 1. In addition, behind the TD-18 tractor we can see the rear of another Sherman at the log aircraft revetment. It appears to have a fuel can rack on the transom.
