Camp Tarawa, Hawaii
Sat Aug 26, 2017 16:44

Hello, I am looking for help locating records of the training camp (Camp Tarawa) located in Waimea, Hawaii that housed the 2nd and 5th Marine divisions after the battle of Tarawa. I am looking for both official records, as well as personal accounts (letters home, journals etc.) from those stationed there. Any help and direction would be appreciated.

I will show the picture to some of the people around here that have worked on and around the area during and after Camp Tarawa. I think someone will recognize it.
