Hi Wendell, I have pasted here one of the pics to which I have added an arrow showing where Maj. Jones and 1-6 landed on Green Beach. I added another arrow showing the large sand covered concrete bombproof on Red Beach One just west of the aircraft revetments that I mentioned in an earlier post. I was thinking that it may have had a red cross marking outside one of the openings indicating aid facilities inside. I have included a pic of the rear of that structure after the battle. It was one of the last Japanese areas to fall on the island
