hi i have a son with citrullinemia, myself my husband and my son have all had the dna testing which has confirmed myself and my husband are carriers of this illness. we are also going to have our parents and other family members tested too to confirm. your best bet if your not sure is to have dna testing done in your daughter to see wht her genetic mutations are after that they can test yours and your husbands to see if you are each carriers of one of the genetic mutations. hows was ur daughter identified to have the illness and has she had any high ammonia spells? what is she like when she catches infections? im not sure about anything to do wit chemical exposure i dont think iv had any chemical exposure of any sort. its a 1 in 4 chance with each pregnancy that the baby could be affected u may just have got lucky with the first two who knows? you'll only know for definite once you have had all your dna tests done. how old is your dughter now and does she have any development delays
