gout. The vinegar doesn't appeal to me. Some people swear by it. One lady told me to drink pickle juice, especially if it has the cider vinegar.

Gary's mother had skin cancer but the doctor was able to get all of it. The area is gradually healing. We go back next week to check the healing process, hoping that a skin graft won't be required.

We had 1 1/2" of snow early Sunday morning but most of the month we've had warmer than normal temperatures. We're getting spoiled and don't like the cold days.

A week ago this area had 1 1/2" of rain but it was a narrow band through here and Dickinson County. Our son hosted an open house at the farm equipment store in Herington and had a good turnout. The farmers came to town because it was too wet to be in the fields.

I hope you feel better soon. Pain can drain your energy.
