Whew...was doing FDA stuff. Then moved some house stuff and got ill for three weeks. It wiped my body out ---lost too much energy and stress. Then my god mother had stroke, emergency gallbladder surgery and now after all that something else happened and now is at end stage of life. So I have have been at bedside vigile until soon could fly home off rig and drive in from another state.
I was awake almost 48 straight hours. So just woke from good sleep.
Sad thing, because of my illness had not kept up with all cousins in that family. After much discussion, believe the last 5 years of my aunt's life (age 75) was probably OTC and Diabetes hell. OTC undiagnosed. They were blaming strange onset (which were quick after an incident alztheimers which may have been ammonia). Frightening thing is it could be me in that bed --same body size and problems. She swelled on same leg I do, same leg cramps, same headaches......Found out one daughter has problems. All three daughers have a daughter with problems and one the doctors have just given up and said guess it must be meat alergies ---she keeps throwing up when eating meat ---sound familiar to all the OTCers out there. I just cried. There is also one grandson with issues and another that had to have a brain shunt and issues.
My mother just always said they were kind of ill ---never related to mine. I don't think after all we have sent her and asked to send to cousins ---she ever really did.
My first cousin said my Aunt said that last November that she was convinced she probably had same disorder I have. No one called me. I would have been up there to talk to her and the kiddos. Now some are feeling guilty and have asked me to put together papers and presentation to address after the funeral and all passes. So many lives may be at jeapardy in my family after all. Guess my tellamom did not work. Will have to give to other aunt and uncle also.
So I am trying to stay well. Am mostly eating organic fruits and veggies. Joined a coop. Face is swelling today. Am sure from all the physical stress and strain of the vigile. But it had to be done.
Yet I can proudly say.......Taxes are done and will be mailed within the hour. This is a first for me in several years. Have always been so sick and never could get it all together.
