Re: Adopted son with suspected urea cycle disorder

Hello, I am the mother of a 19yr old daughter who has ArgininoSuccinic Aciduria (ASA for short, also known as ALD) but unfortunately, I am unable to help you as she rarely suffers from headaches or tummy pains.
My stomach often bloates after eating bread, so I'm assuming they have checked your son for Coeliac disease?
I'm so sorry that I can not offer you any help at this time, other than to say if you have access to Facebook, try looking for a group called Urea Cycle Disorders Worldwide, where we have many different UCD's and as I only have experience in ASA, I am sure there are others who can help you with CPS 1 and any other issues your boy has.
I wish you all the very best of luck. xx
