Took forever online using my present (crappy) computer but at least it's paid for now. I pick it up at the store in Ridgecrest,Ca on July 24. Then I zoom to the computer shop and probably pay them $100 to get it set up so I can drive 62 miles back home, plug everything in and HOPEFULLY it works. Cost me $650.43 with tax,so far. I have been forced into joining the modern age.

When home computers first made the scene there was'nt mention of their Internet connection. To me and most others 'computer' meant it's a metal machine that computes numbers. And the price back... more
        • Have you done defrags?Snapdragon, Mon Jul 16 10:45am
I question the horsecrap of a computer becoming a throwaway ... if you periodically delete junk, programs, files that you're no longer using and then have your PC run a defrag, that process will tidy ... more

That is a Lot of computer for under $600. I prefer Notebooks myself, but if you like desktops that doesn't look like a bad deal for the money. Should be great for movies and videos.
