    I think the widescreen dvd release is the same version as the full screen one airing on Encore Westerns. I never saw it in a theatre.

      I've always had a soft spot for this flick, maybe because James Garner (who never had anything good to say about it) is the bad guy for a change. Plus I've always loved the music at the end.
