I was fortunate to attend a book signing Ernie held in Pasadena. My friend Jangoz and I attended and had our picture taken with him. He was at the table alone no agent, no publicity people and the line was a block long yet he took the time to talk with us like we were friends stopping by to say hello.

Yes Ernest Borgnine made this movie in 1988. Directed by Paul Morrissey. It's one of the most offensive movies ever about Italians, but it's also very funny. As an Italian-American I should be... more
