Howard Hughes' book update
Mon Jul 30, 2018 2:47pm

Howard e-mailed me this morning the following information:
IB Tauris, the publisher that has the book, was taken over in May this year by Bloomsbury Publishing (they're a massive outfit and have the Harry Potters among others). That much is in the public domain, Bloomsbury paid 5.8 million. As a result of this, I presume Bloomsbury now own the rights to all my Tauris books also, including out-of-print titles like Stagecoach to Tombstone.

I think it'll be good news for the book in the long term, it's just going to take a bit more time. It's still a live project, it just depends on how high a priority it is on Bloomsbury's list (and of they want to press ahead with it). I think they're a much bigger publisher than Tauris, so we'll see.
