We know you rufftie tufftie racing types would never admit to cruising, but if you ever loosen your grip on the spinnaker sheets for a minute and you ever find yourself in Ireland try Glenarm marina, 25'ish miles north of Bangor which is a terrific secure little marina where Billy the manager can not do enough for you.Tremendous welcome there. Also the most tremendous welcome at Ardglass marina, some 34'ish miles south of Bangor. Brilliant place, secure and friendly though when the tide goes out the yachts look as though they are just floating in a puddle (still has access 24/7 though). Eat at the Golf Club where the throne in the Gents loo has probably the best view in Ireland over the bay and the sea to the Isle of Man and the food was fabulous. The welcome we got everywhere we went was just amazing.
